Shipping and Refund Policies

Shipping Information:

Cakes and Pies:

Orders are shipped the next business day after they are received, with the following exceptions:

Orders received by 5 PM EST on Wednesday will be shipped on Thursday. If Thursday is a holiday or if the destination state requires three days for shipping, the order will ship the following Monday. Orders will not be shipped on Fridays.

Orders placed on Thursday through Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday, or the next business day if Monday is a holiday. For local deliveries within Ohio, please contact us directly to discuss options.

Holiday Orders:

Please place your holiday orders at least ten (10) days in advance to ensure timely delivery.

Non-Delivery Days:

We do not ship or deliver on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Payment:

Orders are processed once payment is confirmed. Unpaid orders will not be fulfilled.

Refund Policies:

Cakes and Treats:

If an order is canceled within 72 hours, 50% of the payment will be refunded.

No refunds will be issued for the following:

Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before shipping.

Orders not received because the recipient was not home or was out of town.

Changes to Orders:

A $25 fee applies to any changes made to cake and cupcake orders. Changes must be requested at least two weeks prior to the scheduled delivery. No changes will be accepted after this deadline.

Catering Services and Sweets Tables:

All deposits for catering services and sweets tables are non-refundable.

If a catering order is canceled, 50% of the contract price will be charged. Cancellations made the day before or on the day of the event will incur a charge of 100% of the contract price. No refunds will be issued once the contract is paid.

Shipping Liability:

Shipping times are estimated by USPS and are not guaranteed by Chacon's Sweet Treats and Good Eats. Once an order is shipped, responsibility for delivery issues rests with USPS. We will provide a tracking number for you to monitor your shipment.
